1)	IMC DMX Field Connector

	a) DMX Output is through a 3 pin Mini XLR Field Connector

	b) Use SwitchCraft TA3F or equivalent
	 (Female Cable end Mini XLR)

	c) IMC DMX-512 Output:
	 Pin 1 Ground
	 Pin 2 DMX TXD+
	 Pin 3 DMX TXD-


2)	The USITT DMX512/1990 (Section 9.02) standard is:
	 Pin 1 - Signal Common (Ground)
	 Pin 2 - Dimmer Drive Complement (Data 1-)
	 Pin 3  Dimmer Drive True (Data 1+)
	 Pin 4 Optional Second Data Link Complement (Data 2-)
	 Pin 5 Optional Second Data Link True (Data 2+)


3)	Typical Cable pinout

	a) IMC DMX-512 Output to Dimmer
	 IMC Pin 1 - (Ground) - Pin 1 of Dimmer
	 IMC Pin 3 - (Data -) - Pin 2 of Dimmer
	 IMC Pin 2 - (Data +) - Pin 3 of Dimmer


4)	Not all Dimmers are created equal

	a) Verify the pinout of the Dimmer being used

	b) Terminate only the Dimmer at the end of a chain
